i am a natural dyer. i work with minerals, plants, organic waste and non-toxic metals. each material requires a special approach to give the textile its own story. I spend most of my time on the road, exploring the origins of colours and scents.

terra tint
The socks were dyed with pigments from plants and flowers found in Morocco and on the coasts of southern Spain and Portugal.
plant brew
The socks were created using cochineal extract and turmeric root. The cochineal extract was brought from a farm in Spain where the dye has been produced for several generations.
petal
These socks were dyed with leftover leaves and petals from a flower farm. I placed each petal on the surface of the sock which created the pattern.
